Happy Friday Everyone!!

Emily's Eats is very excited to step out in faith with a new adventure. It's something that has been on my heart for YEARS! With many hours of prayer I finally know the way I want to offer it to our community.

Introducing

---FOSTERING SWEETS---

Crawfordsville and other towns have seen an influx of grandparents raising their “grand babes”. I personally know dozens of grandkids living with their grandparents. There is no judgement here. There are countless reasons this could be the case.

As a grandparent, you have raised your child/children, and they have moved on in life. At least, that is the hope and prayer of most. However, the world has changed since you were the one parenting and supporting the needs of your children. Groceries are more expensive. Gas has sky-rocketed. You may not even have the same job you did while raising your family. Maybe now you are on a fixed income “scraping by,” giving these children literally all you have.

This is exactly where I want to help. I want to help you remember the joy and love in celebrating these kids’ birthdays. Fostering Sweets will be offering 2 cakes a month to help celebrate birthdays. I realize cake isn't the most important thing for a birthday, but every “kiddo” will remember if they did or didn't have one.

These cakes will be 5" round. Serving about 4 people. There will be 3 flavors to choose from. Vanilla, Chocolate, Funfetti You are blessing these kids with a better life.

Let Emily's Eats help. The link below is a birthday cake request form. We ask that you fill it out and submit it back to us. At this time, I am only able to offer 2 per month. Unfortunately, not every request submitted will be granted.

Let's show love to these kids and their families in wonderful MoCo.

*Delivery and candles are included, unless previously noted or discussed between parties involved.*

Please share! If you are someone who would love to help, you can send donations to @EmilysEats29 on Venmo. You could sponsor a “kiddo’s” cake, or simply offer $2 to help assist with the cost. I will do my best to be very transparent regarding the allocation and usage of the donations.
